Vasanti Sundaram has contributed stories to leading periodicals, including Friday magazine (Gulf News, UAE), Weekend (Khaleej Times, UAE), Ahlan Masala (UAE), The Hindu & India Today (India), Silicon India (US).

Her features have profiled global icons, including two former presidents of India, Dr Abdul Kalam and Smt Pratibha Patil.

Vasanti Sundaram conceptualized and steered the Middle East’s first shopping magazine, Impulse (DIT Publishing). As launch editor, she managed a team of creative professionals, and directed the editorial slant of the monthly issues for a diverse audience.

Vasanti Sundaram has served as Editorial Director - Arab Region for APCO Worldwide’s offices in Dubai. In this role, she was responsible for the content and quality of written communication disseminated for APCO’s portfolio of public and private sector clients in the Middle East.​​
